If the writers REALLY wanted to, they could totally wuss out and have Castle and Beckett get interrupted right at the beginning of 5x01.  Cause writers can be trolls.

I mean at the end of Always we are frozen in time now for 4 months or so…they WERE in the midst of getting it on but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.
